As the weather changes with the holidays quickly approaching, changes also continue to take place at the LA Waterfront!
With much of the Market Hall exterior being complete as of August, progress continues to be made on Phase 1B at the LA Waterfront in San Pedro, also known as West Harbor. Here is our coverage through November 2024.
Most of the major visual progress at site 1B has taken place since June-July, when the footings for the building were dug. The image below is from early June, when the footings were being drilled.
The following images are all from the video above, as we did not include June in this sequence.
Unfortunately, we were not able to get footage during August, but our flyby in September showed the footings had been filled in and were ready to support the structures above.
In October, the foundation of the first structure at site 1B started taking shape, outlined in yellow below. You can also more clearly see the concrete-filled footings for the rest of the structures which will be going up soon.
This month, we saw the structure being erected, along with another foundation taking shape!
